About Bushi Ban Pearland

Bushi Ban Pearland is a martial arts school and state-licensed childcare provider serving Pearland, Texas and the surrounding Brazoria County communities. We're part of the wider Bushi Ban Martial Arts system — a national training approach originally developed by Grand Master Zulfi Ahmed to combine traditional martial arts with modern self-defense and performance-based fitness. Our Pearland location brings that system to families across Friendswood, Manvel, Alvin, Shadow Creek Ranch, and Silverlake.

The Bushi Ban System

Rather than teaching a single discipline, Bushi Ban blends practical self-defense, structured belt progression, and age-specific curriculum into one well-rounded system. That means a 3-year-old's first class, a teenager's confidence-building program, and an adult's fitness kickboxing workout are all part of the same proven framework — just adapted to the student in front of us. Our Mission

Our mission is simple: build stronger, more confident people — on and off the mat. Every class at Bushi Ban Pearland is designed to develop physical fitness, mental focus, and personal discipline while reinforcing respect, accountability, and perseverance. Students walk away with skills that show up well beyond training — at school, at work, and at home.

What Makes Training Here Different

Two things set Bushi Ban Pearland apart from a typical martial arts studio:

1. State-licensed childcare, built into the same building. We're one of the only options in the Pearland area where working parents can get safe, structured before/after-school care and martial arts training under one roof — no separate daycare drop-off, no separate second drive across town.
2. True breadth of programming. From Little Warriors at age 3 to Tai Chi, women's self-defense, homeschool PE, and adult kickboxing, Bushi Ban Pearland is built to grow with your entire family over years, not just one class type.

Every class is led by a certified Black Belt instructor who has trained not only in martial arts competition, but in how to teach — with an emphasis on patience, encouragement, and age-appropriate coaching for every student who walks through our doors.
